Optional statistics — Google Analytics
With your consent, Google Analytics measures page visits and interactions on www.walkingphotographer.net, including successful contact requests. Analytics does not load before you accept Statistics. Refusing statistics does not prevent you from using the website. You can withdraw consent through Privacy preferences in the footer.
We do not send the name, email address or message entered in the contact form to Analytics. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in the site configuration. Query strings and fragments are removed from the page address sent by our configuration. Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) are configured to expire after 183 days, without extending their expiry on each visit. Revoking statistics disables collection and clears accessible Analytics cookies on this domain. Data already collected is not automatically erased by withdrawal.
Google provides Analytics; processing may involve countries outside the EEA. See Google’s privacy policy. Statistics are disabled on localhost and preview domains.

Enquiries
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, take steps at your request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Providing these details is necessary to respond. We do not use this form to subscribe you to marketing messages.
Messages are sent through Hostinger and delivered to the studio’s Gmail account. Enquiries are retained for two years after the enquiry is closed.
Website operation and security
Hosting and email services process connection and delivery information to operate and protect the website. The contact endpoint keeps temporary keyed hashes of IP addresses and attempt counters for rate limiting, without storing the submitted message in those counters. Expired counter entries are removed on subsequent submissions. This security processing serves our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
External content and fonts
Google Maps, YouTube and Vimeo are optional. Their embedded content is loaded only after you enable the relevant service. This uses your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw through Privacy preferences. Withdrawal does not affect processing already performed lawfully.
Adobe Fonts supplies this website’s typography. Adobe states that it does not set or use cookies to serve website fonts. Font delivery involves requests to Adobe and technical usage information. See Adobe Fonts privacy information.
Service providers and international processing
Our services involve Hostinger (hosting and email), Google (Gmail and, when enabled, Maps, YouTube and Analytics), Adobe (fonts), and Vimeo when enabled. Provider processing may take place outside the European Economic Area. Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, portability of your personal data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests.
