This website uses essential browser storage to remember preferences. Google Maps, YouTube and Vimeo remain off until you allow them. Rejecting optional services leaves photographs, text, navigation and the contact form available.
Optional statistics — Google Analytics
With your consent, Google Analytics measures page visits and interactions on www.walkingphotographer.net, including successful contact requests. Analytics does not load before you accept Statistics. Refusing statistics does not prevent you from using the website. You can withdraw consent through Privacy preferences in the footer.
We do not send the name, email address or message entered in the contact form to Analytics. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in the site configuration. Query strings and fragments are removed from the page address sent by our configuration. Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) are configured to expire after 183 days, without extending their expiry on each visit. Revoking statistics disables collection and clears accessible Analytics cookies on this domain. Data already collected is not automatically erased by withdrawal.
Google provides Analytics; processing may involve countries outside the EEA. See Google’s privacy policy. Statistics are disabled on localhost and preview domains.
Your choices
Accept all enables all three optional services. Reject keeps them off. Customize lets you choose Google Maps, YouTube and Vimeo separately. The Enable button beside a blocked map or video authorizes that provider across the site. You can change or withdraw your choice using Privacy preferences in the footer. Withdrawal reloads the page to stop previously loaded services; it cannot undo data already sent or delete cookies owned by another domain.
Essential storage
- walking-privacy-v1 — localStorage on this website’s origin. Records the policy version, date and choices for up to 183 days. It is not used for advertising. After expiry, optional services are blocked until you make a new choice.
- walk-gallery-view — sessionStorage. Remembers the selected gallery view during the browser session.
You can clear these entries in your browser settings. If browser storage is unavailable, your selection may not persist between pages. Choices apply separately to each domain or local preview.
Optional services

- YouTube: embedded video using the privacy-enhanced player domain. It still loads only after YouTube consent. Google cookie information.
- Vimeo: embedded video with the DNT setting, loaded only after Vimeo consent. Vimeo player cookies.
